Two weeks left until departure

I will quit my room in the shared appartment by the end of this week and cardboxes are already piling up in front of my door... The cellar was temporarily transformed in a small bicycle workshop. Now, there is only one and a half weeks left until I'm going on my bicycle tour. During this time, I will certainly get quite a bit of headache while thinking about all the things I might have forgotten to prepare or to pack.

At the moment, my feelings regarding the travel a bit mixed. On one hand, I’m really looking forward to join the road again, discover new countries, landscapes and cultures by bicycle. On the other hand, I feel that I will leave so much behind in Switzerland. The civil service comes to an end at the university (where I had a great time), and of course there are all the friends an my family. But I think these feelings are just a natural part of the upcoming adventure.

Hopefully, I will be able to share some of my impression on the road with you. Here you should be able to find a new entry every couple of weeks. If you want get informed at each new entry, just subscribe to the newsletter. Of course, I’m always happy to receive emails during the journey. But please understand, that I won’t be able to reply right away.

So, let’s go down to the cellar – my bicycle is awaiting me already.
