Exciting science at ECFG17!

ECFG17 just took place in Dublin, Ireland! Ursula gave an amazing talk on the remarkably scarce yet intriguing TE content in Candida albicans, Thomas presented a poster on his recent work exploring the signatures of the fungal TE-defense RIP system across the fungal kingdom and I had a poster on mitochondrial genome diversity within the Zymoseptoria tritici species. We were thrilled to be part of the global fungal scientific community, and the venue was stunning — we enjoyed exploring Dublin and its surroundings!
